Data Science Will Take an Important Place Among The Professions Of The Future

Many professions will become obsolete in the next 25 years.
InterProbe Chairman of the Board Özbilen said, “Data science, its executors 'data scientist' and 'data engineer', will have a higher importance than current estimates.”
Pavotek and InterProbe Chairman of the Board Dr. Alper Özbilen told. Alper Özbilen said that the collection, storage, processing and security of data has become the priority agenda of many countries.
Emphasizing that understanding the data, shaping it, and reaching a lot of information that is not noticed in the mass and crowd, gives decision advantage to companies and countries, Özbilen said:
“We are witnessing that different countries enter into an increasingly intense struggle around the reflex to protect their own data and the appetite to access the data of others especially the USA, China and Russia. Under the title of 'Digitalization', we do not see digitalization as a mere value, we believe that it is necessary to distinguish between being a digital consumer and being a producer.
We have to see the necessity of evaluating the information age not only in terms of accessing information, but also in the context of interaction with information. Data science and engineering will lead us to accurate, effective and valuable information in this era where almost everything is transferred to the digital environment.”
“Many professions will become obsolete in the next 25 years”
Alper Özbilen emphasized that many professions will become invalid in the next 25 years, and that the processes that are followed by human hands and minds today will be carried out by computers and computer-controlled robots, it is no longer a prediction but a reality waiting for the day.
Pointing out that data science, its performers, "data scientist" and "data engineer", will have a higher importance than the current estimates, Özbilen continued his words as follows:
“We decided to organize the Data Science Program in order to reach the human resources we need and to train experts that the industry will need. We believed that the approach of contributing to the training of experts that we and the industry need is more valuable, rather than a passive complaint such as 'There is not enough human resources trained in the industry'.
In a very short time, we were pleasantly surprised by the very valuable applications from the best universities of our country, reaching a total of 1,000. In order to respond to this enthusiasm, we have transformed our program, which was designed as a summer onsite program only, into an extended program that will continue throughout the year and will also be conducted online.”
“It is necessary to think about the needs of tomorrow today”
Pavotek and InterProbe Chairman of the Board Özbilen stated that they are companies that attach importance to industry-university cooperation and said, "We see our universities as a warehouse of candidates for qualified production of our country. We believe that academic knowledge will make significant contributions to production capacity with certain touches."
Noting that it is important to think about the needs of tomorrow today, and that is why mutual and interactive education is of great importance, Özbilen concluded his words as follows:
“During the program, it is aimed to develop a practical and perspective that includes different disciplines under the headings of 'big data infrastructures', 'digital signal processing', 'machine learning', 'hybrid quantum research', 'ethics and laws in analytical practice'.
It is also aimed to include young talents who successfully complete the summer program in long-term internship programs and then continue their professional careers with the InterProbe family.”
